Our trading brands
Flowsynergy supplies five trading brands in the UAE: KITZ, DFT, KVC UK Ltd, Vogt and Etelec. KITZ and KVC UK Ltd cover ball, gate, globe, check and butterfly valves. Vogt covers control, multi-turn, check and quarter-turn valves for critical service. DFT covers silent check valves and severe-service control valves. Etelec covers cable joints, connectors and heat-shrink protection for electrical installations. We supply all five from Dubai with selection support and documentation.
01Five brands, one selection method
These are trading brands we supply to projects in Dubai and across the UAE. Four are valve makers, and one makes electrical connection products. Together the valve brands cover the isolation, check and control valves on this site. No single maker covers every type, material and class well. So we answer each enquiry across all five brands.
Each brand below gets three facts: what the maker is known for, where it fits, and its standards. We publish no product counts, stock levels or lead times. Availability and delivery are confirmed separately for each enquiry.
Appointment status: all five brandsThese are trading brands we supply. Whether Flowsynergy holds a distributorship or agency with any maker is To confirm. This site does not claim one.
02Matching a brand to a service condition
An enquiry usually arrives with a duty, not a maker. Find the duty, then read the brands to ask for. Where a specification names only the condition, this is the map we select from.
| Service condition | Brands to ask for | Where to read more |
|---|---|---|
| Building-services and utility isolation | KITZ | Industrial valves |
| Pipeline isolation with trunnion-mounted ball valves | KVC UK Ltd | Industrial valves |
| Butterfly valve isolation | KITZ · KVC UK Ltd | Gate, ball or butterfly |
| Pump-discharge check and water hammer | DFT | Industrial valves |
| Severe-service control and critical process duty | Vogt · DFT | Valve selection guide |
| Cable joints, connectors and heat-shrink protection | Etelec | Send an enquiry |
03KITZ, Japan: ball, gate, globe, check and butterfly valves
KITZ is the usual starting point for quarter-turn and multi-turn isolation. State the class, material group and end connection.
A comprehensive valve maker founded in 1951. Its valves come in bronze, brass, cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel and cast carbon steel.
- ASME B16.34
- API 598
- API 608
- ISO 5208
04DFT, USA: silent check valves and control valves
Ask for DFT by the symptom. A check valve slams on pump trip, or a swing check flutters at low flow. An axial, spring-assisted check answers both when sized to actual flow.
A check-valve specialist making valves in the United States since 1943. Its range covers silent check valves and severe-service control valves.
05KVC UK Ltd: ball, gate, globe, check and butterfly valves
KVC UK Ltd suits pipeline and process isolation where a ball valve must hold its class. Send the class, seat type and end connection.
Trunnion-mounted and floating ball valves, with soft or metal seats. The range also covers gate, globe, check and butterfly valves. Its logo includes Federal International (2000) Ltd.
06Vogt: control, multi-turn, check and quarter-turn valves
Ask for Vogt where the service is critical and the valve function is defined. Send the medium, design pressure and temperature, and that function.
High-performance valves for critical services, in the maker's own words. Its markets include oil and gas, pipelines, refining, chemicals, air separation and power.
07Etelec, Italy: cable joints, connectors and heat-shrink protection
Etelec is the one electrical brand on this page. Ask for it by cable size, voltage class and installation type.
An Italian maker of cable joints, connecting devices, connectors, heat-shrink sleeves, insulating fillers and electrical tapes. Its range includes medium-voltage products.
08Standards these brands are specified against
Each tag list names documents an engineer often sees a brand called up against. Industrial valves are typically rated to ASME B16.34 and tested to API or ISO standards. Electrical connection products are chosen by voltage class and the maker's data sheet.
These are properties of the published standards, not claims about any product's approvals. The glossary defines each designation. The certificate that proves compliance is always the maker's. The technical support page explains how to request it.
Reference values. Confirm against the current edition of the standard and the manufacturer's rating table.
09Documents to request from each brand
Ask every valve brand for the same document set, at order. Request EN 10204 material certificates for pressure-retaining parts. Request pressure-test reports that state the method and the observed result. Request the maker's data sheet for the exact model. Add fire-safe or fugitive-emission type-test certificates where the duty calls for them. The sourcing and documentation guide shows what a compliant set looks like.
Name the documents on the enquiry, not at delivery. A certificate not raised at manufacture cannot be raised later. For Etelec products, ask for the data sheet and voltage class of each item.
10Why we do not copy maker catalogues
This site does not reproduce five catalogues. A copied catalogue is out of date the day it is copied. A range list also answers no engineering question. KITZ, DFT, KVC UK Ltd, Vogt and Etelec publish their own product data. We work from those documents at their current revision.
We add the selection across brands. One service condition is read against every range. The answer names the valve, trim and documents to expect. Guides are indexed under Insights, starting with valve selection by standard.
Enquiry Dubai
Name the brand, or just the duty.
If the specification names a maker, say so and we quote that brand. If it names only the condition, fill in the fields below. We then select across all five brands.
